I bought this washer/dryer pair about 3 months ago, replacing a 12year old kenmore leading loader. I was concerned about vibration, odor, how the machine would hold up and so on. But so far it has been an exceptional performer. I will take note from the other reviewer and jot down the serial number, just in case.
My most significant thumbs up is savings in water and decreased drying time. The washer does an exceptional job of cleaning clothes, which is impressive taking into consideration I hardly ever see any water in the tub. I use the highest spin speed for any given cycle I am operating and the clothes come out practically dry. 30 to 45 minutes are all that necessary for the dryer to finish them off.
I've made use of just about each cycle so far such as the eco cold. I could not tell the difference amongst that and warm but I still use warm water mainly out of habit.
I decided to construct my personal platform as an alternative of paying $400+ for Samsung platforms (that is a total rip off). Our upstairs wash area is not really massive, so I just utilized some 2 x 4s, screwed them into the wall studs then placed a heavy sheet of plywood on best of that. I was able to raise them about 12in off he floor which is a superior operating height.
There is practically no vibration from the washer. Even spinning at high speed.
Finally as a precaution, I do use a smaller towel to dry the washer door and rubber door seal after the last load finishes. There is typically some water on these surfaces and I believe over time it would lead to a predicament. This washer does have a self cleaning cycle but I have not had to run it yet.
Overall this is just a phenomenal appliance. I can tell a lot of thought has gone into the style and execution. Could not be more pleased.

The washer door got locked couple of days soon after the purchase. We called up Samsung client assistance they needed the serial number. Apparently, to appear at the serial number, you require to open the door they will not produce service, till they know serial number. Be prepared the worst sort of client assistance, even though getting Samsung appliances. I learnt it, the difficult way.
